Human Resource Coordinator

Job Overview:

The HR Coordinator will support the HR department by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records maintenance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate should enjoy working closely with colleagues, have strong computer skills, be able to adapt to new programs, and possess excellent listening skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment:

    • Update job postings, prescreen applications, and schedule interviews.

  2. New Hire Onboarding:

    • Onboarding forms and training, coordinate pre-employment tests, background checks, and create new-hire orientations. 
       

  3. Education & Training:

    • Ensure mandatory and continuing education is completed, including safety, code of conduct, and certification training.

  4. Benefits:

    • Assist with benefit programs, leave requests, and work with HR on annual Open Enrollment. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.

  5. Employee Relations:

    • Facilitate disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of three years in an administrative role.

  • Skills: Professional communication, conflict resolution, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.

  • Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.

  • Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with Foundation Software is an advantage, but not required.
